Inter Deanery Seminar Competition on 4th September




A slight increase in the temperature and we are already sweating it out. A bomb explosion is enough to create rifts amongst communities and compel a country to initiate an action which can lead to greater consequences, often leading to greater damages. Are we human beings or commodities? These are some questions which grapple the entire phenomena of International Relations. Come join us on the 4th of September as we dwell into deeper discussions on Human Factors in the International Security through presentations by students across deaneries.
 As an association, we intend to encourage all the students of the Undergraduate Classes to urk their writing capabilities on a large platform.

The Department of International Studies, Political Science and History organised a webinar on Populism titled ‘The Multifaceted Nature of Populism’ by Ajay Gudavarthy. Ajay Gudavarthy is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Political Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has been a visiting fellow at Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Charles Wallace Fellow at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. His most recent book is India After Modi: Populism and the Right (2018). This MoU is to build academic and research resources on China Studies and related areas as a thriving discipline. It will also enable the department to create new knowledge in India about different countries, particularly on China.
