India bound is a risk advisory which in the
most basic sense advises its clients on what possible measures can be taken
during any disaster like a fire incident or a blast. Therefore the work here
requires us to have knowledge of anything and everything happening around the
world so that an update can be sent to all concerned clients. Such work
commitment has made me much more aware of world events and has added to my
knowledge about world affairs. The analysis of situations requires us to
connect the dots and this in turn requires full knowledge of the background of
the event so that the present context can make sense. Going into the roots of
an issue before forming any judgement is one important that I learned from this
firm. This experience has not just enhanced my awareness of what's going around
the world but has also made me understand that even a humanities student can
pursue a career in corporate world with a background of political
science. All it requires is all round information about world events so
that a good analysis and advisory could be formed and transferred to the
concerned.
