MAIS Valedictory cum Farewell Party

With the Academic Session coming to an end, the long journey with the seniors too came to an end with the Valedictory cum Farewell session held by the Department of International Studies and History on the 15th of March at Room number 911 at 4:30PM onwards. The function started with an invocation song by first years. The function was attended by the Faculty and the students of first year and the second years. The Emcee for the day was Niyati from First Year. This was later followed by a brief report on Lyceum and Certificate Distribution for people for their participation in various events held by Lyceum PG Association.

After the formal Valedictory, it was followed by the farewell where the outgoing students received a grand welcome by their juniors and then the session of fun and frolic started. The function started with a song by Sharath and Rositta which then followed by share of experiences by teachers about their association with the outgoing students and also their best wishes. There were various games conducted for the seniors which ranged from imitating teachers and classmates to quizzes and a song by the juniors speaking about the college life. There was a brilliant dance performance by the juniors which was appreciated by the seniors and the faculties alike and the exhibition of a farewell video. Like all good things have to end, the farewell too came to a nostalgic end with a photo session with seniors.
