Date: 5 September 2018 Venue: Block II, Panel Room Time: 3-4 P.M. Teachers’ Day, a day to commemorate the mentors who have bestowed knowledge, in its purest sense upon us, was celebrated with sheer frolic by the Department of International Studies and History. The afternoon saw a series of convivial events and anecdotes by the students as well as the teachers. After welcoming the teachers from the Department of International Studies and History and the Department of Law via tokens of appreciation offered by the students of 1 and 3 MAIS, the students were addressed by Father Jose C.C, Dr. Madhumati Deshpande , Dr. Vagishwari and Dr. Joshy Paul. They shared their own experiences and the essence of this day in their lives. This was followed by a sublime dance performance by the students of 1MAIS, which captivated the audience, especially the teachers who hooted for a “once more”!
