BATTLE OF BRAINS-2018-19

Lyceum, the post graduate students’ association of the Department of International Studies and History, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has been organising its annual fest, Battle of Brains since 2014. Over the years the event has seen an increase in footfall and participation from different departments.
This year Battle of Brains was conducted on 29th January, 2019.  The fest commenced with the inauguration ceremony at Room No 105, Central Block, where a lamp was ceremoniously lit by the professors of the Department, along with the student conveners. The inauguration ceremony was immediately followed by various competitions. It comprised of three events, namely: Classical Debate, Foreign Policy Quiz and Just a Minute.
Lyceum serves as a beautiful reminder of what young minds are capable of. The entire process of the fest, from its inception to its execution was handled by the young and it was a grand success. Volunteers were always on their feet and were ready to do any work required. It was an enlightening and enriching experience overall. Now all the hopes rest on the next batch to uplift the Department fest and make Lyceum 2019-20 bigger and better.
