Seminar on “Dynamics of Pursuing Peace with Pakistan in the current Geo-Political Environment in the Subcontinent

The India-Pakistan Soldiers' initiative (IPSI) for Peace, in collaboration with the Department of International Studies and History, Christ University, hosted a seminar on “Dynamics of Pursuing Peace with Pakistan in the current Geo-Political Environment in the Subcontinent, on July 6. The IPSI veterans and other members meet periodically to discuss issues confronting the two countries and debate options to take forward steps to ameliorate the condition of poor people on both sides, especially in J&K.

The Department of International Studies, Political Science and History organised a webinar on Populism titled ‘The Multifaceted Nature of Populism’ by Ajay Gudavarthy. Ajay Gudavarthy is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Political Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has been a visiting fellow at Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Charles Wallace Fellow at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
